Geophaps smithii  

We located this Partridge Pigeon and a bunch of his mates crossing the road leading in to Koolpin Gorge and Gumlon Falls in Kakadu National Park.

This has so far been our only sighting after several trips through their range which shows that sometimes you can be lucky.

We were actually hoping to find White-throated Grasswren though, and didn't, which shows that sometimes you could be luckier.

But hey, I'm not complaining. Rambling on, yes. Complaining, no.
